So you wanna learn how to use tehorng? You’ve come to the right place.
There are three main things you can contribute to on tehorng: artists, albums and links. You will need to be logged in to contribute.
How to add an Artist
Adding an artist easy, first go to artists and click on add artist in the top right section. On the following page you fill in some artist information and it will be added to tehorng. The artist will need to be approved by the staff first before it appears public. This process usually takes between 1-3 days.
How to add an Album
First you have to find the artist on tehorng. You can either use the artist list or search to find what you’re looking for. Once you have found the artist the process is identical to adding an artist. Make sure the album doesn’t exist already and click add album. Fill in the required information and your album will appear on the website instantly! (so long as there are no problems :P)
How to add a Link
The final piece of the puzzle: adding a link. This is a bit tricker, since tehorng does not host files. You will have to first upload the music to a file sharing website. If you have never done this before a great, free website is MediaFire. They also have a great tour on how to use their service.

It’s done uploading? Great. Depending on what website you used the process varies slightly but the end result should be a link like http://mediafire.com/?348724ASD that links to the file you’ve uploaded.
This is the link you are going to upload to tehorng, you will first find the album that you want to add the links for. Then you will click add link and fill in the required information and you’re done! The link should appear on the album instantly.
How editing works
You will notice that for artists, albums or links you have uploaded you can see edit buttons. Only the uploader can see these buttons. It allows you to edit the information of the artist, album or link more in depth and fix any mistakes.
How deleting works
You’ll also notice that as the uploader of an artist, album or link you also see a delete button. Use this only when there is a mistake such as: an album that doesn’t belong to an artist. Use with discretion.
How reporting works
As an user browsing the site you will see that you can report artists, albums and links. This is a good way to let the uploader know if there is a problem with their upload. Good reporting reasons are: the link is dead, the album doesn’t belong to this artist, the artists image is wrong, etc.
You may only report one time per item, after you have reported the uploader will be notified by email.
Then they can edit it if the reason is valid.
Admins are notified when an item is reported more than 2 times, this assures that bad content doesn’t stay on the website long.
